A Portrait of a Victorian Garden: James Bateman and the Story of Biddulph Grange.'

Russell Bowes is making a welcome return visit to our Association, having spoken to us in 2012 about Joseph Paxton.  He is a garden historian, designer and tour guide.  In 2003 he gained a Diploma in Garden History from the University of London. Biddulph Grange is one of the Trust's most idiosyncratic gardens, and it includes a highland glen, Egyptian pyramid and Chinese temple.  This talk also considers the way that advances in technology have changed the way that English gardens look for ever.
