After a comfort stop, we make a return visit (previously in 2006) to this House which has passed through the hands of archbishops, kings and several generations of the Sackville family who have lived here since 1603. A £20 million pound project is taking place to secure the future of Knole and we will be able to visit the Conservation Studio to witness up-close the treatment work undertaken on Knole’s collections. Some of the restored showrooms will be open while others will remain closed.

Lunch and afternoon tea (not included in cost of visit) can be taken at a time to suit members’ convenience in the Brewhouse Café.

Cost : £ 32.00 per person including coach hire and gratuity to driver. Excludes all refreshments. Please add £2.50 to your cheque if parking at Newbury Rugby Club.
